The operation ultimately ended in failure due to a lack of sufficient anti-capital firepower. Our fleet composition was heavily weighted toward smaller ships, leaving us unable to effectively challenge the enemy's larger vessels.
The only dedicated anti-capital asset available to the task force was a Tiburon. While it performed admirably under the circumstances, a single anti-cap platform was not enough to shift the balance of the engagement. Enemy capital ships were able to maintain pressure and absorb damage far beyond our fleet's capacity to inflict meaningful losses.
Without enough large combat ships to support the Tiburon and sustain coordinated attacks, our forces were gradually overwhelmed. Despite strong coordination and determined resistance from all pilots involved, the fleet lacked the firepower necessary to achieve mission objectives.
The engagement highlighted the importance of fielding a balanced fleet composition, particularly when capital-class threats are expected. Future operations will require additional large ships and anti-capital assets to ensure mission success.
